K9 Sem is Lt. Andy Ansley's newest partner since August 2016. She is a 3 year old Belgian Malinois and was purchased through K-2 Solutions. She was trained by Master Trainer, Sgt. Tracy Campbell, and is certified through the International Police Work Dog Association. Lt. Ansley and K9 Sem completed a 200 hour Multi-Purpose Canine Handler's course through K2 Solutions in the areas of controlled aggression, tracking, obedience, article search, area search, building search and narcotics detection.

K9 Cash
In October 2015 the Rockingham Police Dept added the newest member of the K9 Unit, K9 Cash. Cash is a 20 month old German shepherd and was purchased from K2 Solutions. Officer Josh Lampley will be K9 Cash's partner. Officer Lampley has been with RPD since 2013 and was previously employed with Mount Gilead Police Dept.
