City of Rockingham Noise Ordinance

The police department receives a lot of calls about loud music and dogs barking. We also receive a lot of inquiries as to what quantifies as loud noise violations. For that reason we have posted our local ordinance here for your convenience.
First time violators are usually given a warning and after then you could be issued a citation which would require an appearance in court, along with fines and court costs.
