ROCKINGHAM POLICE DEPARTMENT

The Rockingham Police Department has joined forces with the Richmond County Chamber of Commerce in implementing the Business Alert Program. This will be an effort to alert businesses in our area,  that choose to participate in the program, of on-going investigations and important information such as:  counterfeiting, money order schemes, currency scams, shoplifting rings, obtaining property schemes and other types of fraudulent activities. 

The program will work by utilizing email alerts and fax (if email is not available) to get pertinent information to businesses as quickly as possible.  The information will be sent from the police department's Criminal Investigation Division where a Detective has been assigned as the alert program's local business advocate.
